Reparations Ted Talk

One of the main assignments for my Econ course last semester was presenting a 6 minute Ted Talk based off of an economic related book. Since most of my educational background has been related to inequality, I was immediately drawn towards books discussing some of the economics involved with social inequality. For my Ted Talk, I chose to read "From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century" by William A. Darity Jr. and A. Kirsten Mullens.

From there I created a 6-minute Ted Talk utilizing information from the book and my own personal research on reparations. Since I typically have a shy disposition and I have not done public in-person speaking in years (due to the pandemic), I was quite nervous about all of the things that could have gone wrong in this presentation. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received an A+ on this assignment!
