I am a native of Columbia, Maryland and a graduate of Wilde Lake High School of the Howard County Public School Systems. In May 2021 I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with two Bachelor's with one in Sociology and another in Government & Politics with a minor in Law & Society on the Race, Immigration, Ethnicity, and Gender track. In August 2022, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master's of Public Administration (MPA).
My college career had an interesting start where my first semester of college was at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. I decided that Kent was not for me so I transferred the next semester to University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). While that was a great institution, I was always very motivated to be a student at UMD, as it was a life long aspiration of mine that I just had to see through. Fortunately, I was able to transfer to UMD my sophomore year and I have enjoyed being a Terp ever since.
During my time at the University of Maryland, I have gotten the opportunity to have so many wonderful experiences that have shaped me academically and personally. When I'm not spending time on my studies, I enjoy my membership in Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Club Field Hockey Team. Other student organizations that I have been apart of are Justice 4 Juniors, Roosevelt Collective, University Student Judiciary, and MLAW Ambassadors.

Within my studies, I enjoy learning about social inequality, specifically with health, wealth, gender, race, sexual orientation, citizenship status, and ability. Some of the topics that I am most passionate about are mass incarceration, universal health care, pro-choice, gun reform, universal pre-k, and homelessness.
In August 2021-August 2022, I attended the University of Pennsylvania to get a Master's of Public Administration with a focus in Social Policy from the Fels Institute of Government. This degree helped me combine my interests in social justice, public policy, social science research, and leadership. My main goal has been to utilize social science research to support policies that help mitigate disparities for marginalized communities in the United States.
After completing grad school, I returned to the DMV and moved to Washington, D.C. There I have started positions as policy research analysts at two different organizations. First at Mathematica Policy Research where I had the opportunity to focus on education and workforce policies. However, I am currently at SRI International where we focus primarily on economic development in different regions. In the future, I still am interested in potentially running for local public office in Maryland.
Outside of academia and social justice, I have a wide variety of interests. I played the clarinet from 3rd to 12th grade and along the way taught myself piano, guitar, ukulele, and saxophone, so I am passionate about music. I also really enjoy traveling. So far I have been to 16 countries and many states within the United States. I have four pets. 3 cats, one named Sylvester J. Pussycat the First, Meatball, and Alec. I also a beagle-poodle mix who is 10 years old named Louie. I really enjoying shopping, dressing up, writing, hiking, going for walks, and photography. I am also passionate about cooking and baking and strive to cook at least once a day.
